Review : Mizon Snail Repair Eye Cream

Hello Girls ~ I'm back with my another review ! Today i'm going to review the Snail Repair Eye Cream from Mizon !

80% of snail secretion filtrates and E.G.F (Epidermal Growth Factor) contained in the formula are effective in brightening skin around eyes and caring for wrinkles.


Packaging :
The description printed on the box of the eye cream is in both English & Hangul. The eye cream contains in a small and sturdy glass jar. It contains of 25ml which can last for really longggggg time lolx. When you twist open the cover, you can see a plastic lid there to prevent the eye cream from leaked out (sorry, i forgot to take a photo on it). It also comes with a spatula so it becomes more hygienic when the eye cream is comes in jar type.

Application :
When you twist off the lid, you can see the white and creamy consistency of the eye cream. It does not has any added fragrance so you can hardly smell anything funny lolx. But anyway, it has a light scent (the same smells as the Mizon All in One Snail Repair Cream). So if you think that smell is okay for you, this one definitely will be fine for you as well. But for those who has never try their cream, do not worry. The scent is so light that you can hardly notice :)

White & Creamy

I always use less than a pea-sized of amount of the eye cream and dab around my eyes. The cream is so light and thin that it will absorb to the skin pretty fast and does not leave any stickiness and greasiness upon application. This is one of the point which I like this cream so much ! I've tried other brands of eye cream as well but it feels so thick and sticky which i don't really like it because of my combination type of skin (more to oily). So i cannot stand any cream that makes me feel sticky. While applying the cream, it will turns out to be watery and make it more easy to be absorb by the skin. Totally a plus for me !

Anyway, i tried to use it once with my bare face (without any toner or serum or moisturizing cream) and it turns out to have a slightly burn of sensation. It does not cause any harm to my eyes' area, just discomfort. But this feeling will disappear very fast. Maybe like 10-15 sec ? I still haven't figure it out on why this slightly burn sensation appear. But i'm pretty sure that i will not feel it if i put on the toner, serum and moisturizing before it. Perhaps you can left me a comment if you know it ? :)

Result :
I can feel that the area around my eyes have become more hydrated and smooth and it also improve the appearance of it. Besides, this eye cream is so gentle and light that it does not break me out. But i just use it like only 1 week. So it would be too soon for me to rate this eye cream. Until now, I can feel that the fine line on my eyes has been reduced slightly but i'm not sure how long it can last cuz i read a few reviews on this eye cream and some of them comment that the effect is just temporarily. i will come back again (maybe 2 months later) to updates you guys on the performance of this eye cream.

Repurchase : Yes ! I will continue to use this eye cream until I find a better one. If not, this shall become my permanent eye cream lolx. Cuz i really like it that it does not feel sticky and is easy to spread out evenly.

I got this eye cream from Qoo10 Malaysia with the price of RM32.90. It is so cheap since it contains 25ml of it. So grab 1 for yourself as well !

[Update] Review: SkinFood Black Sugar Mask Wash Off

Hello Girls ~ I'm here with my 1st ever beauty review ! Today I'm going to review on one of the most popular products from SkinFood ! Yes you are right ! Is the Black Sugar Mask Wash Off ! I've heard a lot about this mask and finally, I've got 1 for myself hehehe ~

Description :
This is a mask (or rather called is an exfoliator lolx) that contains mineral-enriched Brazilian black sugar and promotes smooth & glowing skin.

Packaging :
It comes with a small cute plastic jar with a twist off lid. The jar itself is quite solid. So, for all the clumsy girls out there, do not worry for dropping your mask accidentally hahahas xDDD
All the descriptions for this product are written in both English & Hangul. So it makes the customers like me, who do not understand Hangul, a lot easier. At least i do not have to go and Google it for the translation ~

Application :
When you twist off the lid, you can see a thin layer of separation between the mask and the lid. It prevents the masks from getting all over the lid. So it is definitely a PLUS for me ! Cuz I personally do not like my mask to spill all over the lid. But anyway, this mask is quite solid (as long as it does not contact with water), so it would be no difference if it comes without a separation lolx

Okay, now let's take a look at what is inside the jar ! You can smell a strong citrus scent when u take off the separation. It is not my favorite types of smell but it doesn't irritate me as well. For some people, they might think that the citrus scent smells so refreshing.

Have a close look on the mask. You can see that it is quite thick & granules. So, first thought on my mind was like, OMG will it hurt my skin ?

This mask do not comes with the spatula so it becomes not so hygienic. For me, i will use a spatula to scoop out the amount i need to use instead of putting my fingers in to dig out the mask. Sounds so disgusting. ewwww

So when i try it on, the granules itself really feel quite harsh to the skin. So it is recommended to add in the water or toner slightly when you want to massage it into your skin. But remember, just slightly will do. Cuz when the mask come contact with the water, the granules will melt and eventually the exfoliate effect will be lost. After the massaging, you can leave the mask on your skin for like 10-15 mins and enjoy the refreshing scent if you like the citrus smell ~

Result :
After I wash off the mask and tower dry my skin, I can feel that my skin is so smooth and I cant stop from touching it lolx. Although you can smell the citrus scent during application, but it doesn't linger on your skin at all after you wash it. So, do not worry if you don't like the scent ~

So, as for the overall impression, I think it is a good mask for me cuz it removes all the dirt and debris on my face. My face is the combination types (oily at T-zone & dry at cheeks) and it makes my face feels so clean and smooth afterwards.

Pros :

• Cute packaging which I loveeeeee a lot
• Easy to use
• Good exfoliator
• Skin feels refreshing and clean & smooth 
• Remove dry patches on my cheeks

Cons :

• Do not comes with spatula (not hygienic)
• Citrus smell (depends on individual)
• Quite harsh (but melts upon contact with water)

Update : hey girls. is been more than a month since I've been using this wash off mask. And i'm still using it right now ! I'm actually using it on daily basis and i can feel that my skin condition has been getting better and better ! And people also saying that I'm getting fairer lolx. Actually myself can't really feel that i'm getting fairer but since it's a compliment, then I will just let u guys know hahahas! So for sure i will never let go of this product ! So girls, what are you waiting for ? :)
